This mature and earthy woman reflects back on the past and all she has learned; she is in a place of deep realization and acceptance. The Star is the Visionary Aquarian and is in meditative oneness with both water and earth. From her red and blue chalices she pours the "reflections" from the still lake above into the running water and the earth below, bringing her vision from above down to earth, reminding us that 'as above, so below'. The serpent-like creature in the lake symbolizes the unknown of our life's path. The water at her knees moves forward to the future, bringing her vision with it. She is ready for new work to be done, new directions and new goals. Her body posture reflects on the past, is active in the present and leans toward the hope of the future. The Star is a magical card, for it involves having earned the power to make your visions come to fruition. It is never too late to realize your own power.
