 The
			  Hierophant

This being wears the robes and acts the parts of a noble
Master, spiritual mentor, mediator, docent and pedagogue. He
holds his fingers in the ancient blessing of absolution over
the masses gathered at his knees. He listens patiently to
their needs, assessing right from wrong, and gives sound
advice. His larger than life being symbolizes wisdom in
discernment. The heavens are near to the Hierophant, yet he
is solidly of this Earth and its rules. The masses gather
around his knees like demanding children. The angel emerging
from his crown, and simultaneously from the clouds beyond,
deliver the messages of prayers and thanks he has received
from his followers. His tears describe his vision and
empathy, for his gaze looks towards the future - able to see
far by his logic and intelligence - he feels for and is
familiar with the people, society and the congruent order of
					this world.
